I really loved this bad boy. Got it for my birthday couple of months ago and it lived up completely to my expectations! Unfortunately, I stepped on it yesterday and broke it. I’m buying a new one at the moment 🙂 so I decided to share my positive experience with this vaporizer. It’s super easy to use, like you don’t even need a brain, you just need to put your stuff inside and push the button. And the vapor is gorgeous!

8/10 from me, just because the plastics look cheap. Perhaps you guys won’t mind, but I’m a sucker for design, and this vaporizer looks better on the pictures than it does in the real life… the quality of the vapor is pretty decent though.. thick, lush and tasty, nothing to complain about. I also dig the digital temperature display – I don’t get why they make vaporizers without these.. so convenient. Anyhow, it’s a fine product, it never disappointed in terms of performance, it’s just the looks that bother me. Cheers!

      To the dude that sai

To the dude that said this puts Volcanos and other high priced units to shame:

As an owner of this, Arizer and Volcano I have to totally disagree. Comparing this to either of those is like comparing a dysfunctional moped to a Ducati. True the moped will get you from A to B (with some tinkering and embarrassment), but that's not exactly the riding experience .

After upgrading, this little guy collected so much dust I ended up giving it away. In short, if you know you want to vaporize, which I highly recommend, then don't waste money on this model. Do it right and I promise you won't regret it. I only recommend this vaporizer if you're a newbie at vaping and not sure you want to invest in a more expensive one, or if you just need to quit smoking ASAP and can't afford a better model.

All others need to fork over the cash for a real vaporizer! You can take my word for it and stop reading here or continue on to see why I say this. This unit has a tendency to burn and smoke as opposed to vaporize, even with lower-than-ideal temperatures. After working forever to find a sweet spot temperature, the trick is to draw on the whip Very easily or risk pulling too much hot air which will then burn your herb. If this thing had a fan built in it would never work. You have to suck slow and then let it build back up before taking another toke. It's a real drag to sit there and actually put in a ton of effort just to get it to hit right a few times. The quality of the components actually isn't bad at all. In fact it's impressive considering the price. It's the functionality where it lacks any real promise.

It's essentially a car cigarette lighter with a screen and a pyrex bowl on top. You can't expect too much out of it. If you do buy this model then I would find it cheaper. I found mine on eBay for like $50 and I feel I paid exactly what it's worth. Aside from this units pro's and con's you need to figure out if you even want to vaporize. This unit will definitely help you make up your mind on whether or not to upgrade to a $250+ model. Vaporizing isn't for everybody, so anybody interested in vaporizing should buy one of these or sample somebody elses vaporizer to see if they like it.

All vaporizers are much more time consuming that taking a flame to some herb and toking it up. Also, the effects of vaping vs smoking are quite different (I mean aside from the smokeless factor). Some people may be under the impression that vaporizing is a stronger, more intense effect. In my opinion it's not any stronger, it's just different kind of like eating herbs vs smoking them. Effect-wise I'd actually say it's an even cross between eating a little and smoking a little in the same session. And in my case I get no more headaches or junk feeling, so even a low quality batch of herbs can seem more like a kind one if you know what I mean. It also doesn't smell nearly as strong. Hardly at all actually you'd have to walk in to the room in order to tell anything was up. Even with this lame model my lungs sure appreciated it.

This was my first vaporizer and I haven't had a hit of smoke in my lungs ever since and I love it. If your lungs hurt or you need to quit smoking then it doesn't matter how much you spend or what model you get just make sure you get it. Make the healthier change ASAP. I personally think everybody should get a vaporizer just to get away from smoking, and at this price nobody should still be smoking if they don't want to be.

I didn’t read the entire post and I agree you can’t compare it to the volcano, but it won’t collect dust. Unless you only smoke in one spot everytime. It is excellent for what it’s made for; portability. This shouldn’t be compared to a volcano or a nice glass bong. This product will get you high as fuck, in short minutes with low detectability. If you enjoy being high while being out or need a quick puff on break at work it’s the ultimate car piece.

Actually, the materials and shaping are consistent, with persons, familiar with proper structure and mechanical feature selection, by trained pros, who happen to also have business acumen.

        This

This review is from: Easy Use Premium Herbal Vaporizer with Digital display (Black) I bought the VP-100 from another site for a very reasonable price. It was a replacement for my Vapor Bros. vaporizer when the heating element finally wore out. The VP-100 is a classic example of you get what you pay for it is functional, but it is very difficult to determine the correct temperature to vape rather than smoke. You pack the herb in the female and attach it to the male component on the box. The problem is that you are tilting it downward to make the connection so the herb spills toward the heating element, causing it to combust so you are smoking rather than vaping.

I quick-fixed this by inserting another, smaller screen on top of the herb to keep it from scattering into the heating element, but this is definitely a design flaw. Also, it is tough to determine at exactly what temperature to vaporize. The limited instruction sheet said 365 which I found to be way too high, causing the herb to burn. Another source from the internet recommended 350 again too high. Through trial and error, I found 310 to be about right.

Also, another article I read mentioned that these units are designed in China and it is unclear what components have been used to put together the unit inside in other words, you don't know if you are inadvertently inhaling toxins from questionable, cheap parts. Ceramic heating elements are the way to go. American products are also held to a higher quality standards. My regret is that I focused too much on price and did not do my homework on quality vaporizers in advance. Incidentally, if I had bought it at the Amazon price, I would have felt much more ripped off.

    Oils and hash
Anyone know if you have to buy a separate piece for the oils and hash? Or can you just put it into the chamber?

Dime store mouthpiece the Achilles heel to an otherwise excellent product.

This product would be SO great if the damn mouthpiece would just stay on. It’s a simple contact connection and it seems to be designed to wear out rapidly (replacements $15). It may work for a while, but rest assured that the day will soon come when even the slightest nudge will dislodge it (forget about carrying it in your pocket). I spend more time fiddling with the mouthpiece (I’m using electrical tape now) than I do preparing everything else for a usage.

Also wanting: the screen in the mouthpiece. There are no replacements, and you can put money on it that it will be thoroughly clogged after a single use. It’s difficult and time-consuming to clean properly — especially the long-term resin buildup.

It’s SO frustrating, because everything else about the unit seems to be first-rate. Adding to my frustration: I bought two mouthpiece replacements, and they don’t BEGIN to stay on. I strongly recommend that you hold off on this unit until they correct this glaring flaw.
