Wulf Vape SX Portable Vaporizer Review

The Wulf Vape SX Portable Vaporizer just arrived at the office a couple of days ago. What can we say? Are we high as kites? Yes, we are. Is the vapor flavorful and consistent? Well, considering the fact that it’s getting passed around more than a regular joint, and then we can honestly say that the device is a success. It doesn’t really matter whether you have a Masters Degree in vaporizing or you’re just a regular novice, this bad boy will work best for anybody. The device was built out of top-notch parts and materials, such as a stainless steel. It will fit wonderfully in the palm of your hand and the stainless steel heater will not let you down in the long run.

The Wulf Vape SX Portable Vaporizer was built specifically with THC oils and dried buds in mind so you could say it swings both ways, which is great because you don’t have to buy two separate vaporizers for your weed derivatives. The 10-minute Auto Safety Shut Off button will definitely prevent you from vaporizing yourself and the heat up time is less than 1 minute. This switch also ensures that your battery lasts longer than usual. However, one of the best things about this device is that you can set the temperature with the outmost precision. The LCD clearly shows the set and desired temperature and the vaporizer is as quiet as ever so its truly a pleasure to extract that vapor as smoothly as possible.

It says that the sx can vape dry herbs or oil extracts but it doesn’t say or show you how to use the oil extracts?

I got this from an A

I got this from an Amazon Marketplace vendor and it came in the mail about 3 days after my order was placed Mine came with no instructions what so ever and I figured things out after a short trial and error session. Here's what to do if yours is sans instructions. Plug in and turn unit on (on/off switch on back above plug wire)

Adjust temp to 320-325 w/ up button on right of digital temp display – push set button on left of display once a green light will go on next to the display and will come on when the unit is heating up- give it 2-3 min to reach working temp.

In order to keep vapored material from contacting heat element I tilt the front down a bit by lifting the back end and attaching the whip then. Or you can use a higher heat setting (375-390) and just angle the whip lower than the heat element and draw with a bit more effort, but not much more or you get the burnt popcorn deal. By adjusting the angle of the whip attachment and keeping the material to be vaped down and away from the heat element I've found I get good results, no burnt popcorn taste or smell and a fine vaporized experience.

I hope the above helps those who may get this without proper instructions included. If the heating element was a round ball-like piece so you could connect the whip in any way/direction this would be a 5 star review.

This vape is produced by a general manufacturer. If you lookup the Mig Matrix vape, you will notice it is the exact same vape except for a different sticker. The Mig Matrix includes an insert for the vape that you put oil in. I’m assuming you can find that insert online and use it in yours. I just bought the Wulf SX because it is cheaper than the Matrix.

WOW drove two hrs back to LA and had local shop order one for the wife to enjoy . I will keep an eye on all wulf vape products to keep their quality products in my arsenal .

    Great Price // Outstanding Performance
Where can I begin with this awesomely constructed piece of tehnology? For starters, price point is pretty dope. Wulf Mods have offered several a great dry herb vape. The wulf vape digital is awesome and the updated SX is just as amazing, if not more. The SX dry vape heats up quickly and contains a decent sized chamber for your dry medicine and surprisingly your THC oils too(VERY CONVENIENT).

The overall medicating process is fun and very accessible. Its my go to medicating tool when I’m out and about, at say, a bar, a park, or even a cookout…The Wulf Vape is a versatile piece of equipment. I highly recommend the SX if you want a reliable and economically priced dry medicine vape.

Bought sx a month ago. Worked good but the mouthpiece feel started breaking about 3 weeks in and eventually became unusable. I ordered a replacement sx mouthpiece that stated OEM and came in what appears to be be official packing box and looks right but is a little off and doesn’t fit. I’ve basically given up. Maybe I’ll order a legitimate vaporizer in the future, maybe not.

    Bummed Dude 🙁
This vape is just crap. Mouthpiece broke whilst removing it to load.

Good for about 1-2 sessions before the screen starts to clog and pass through diminishes by 50% or more and vapor is weak. Needs cleaned and fully charged IMO to offer best vape. The charge is good for about 3-4 sessions, although the battery still shows charge, it shuts down with juice still left.

The worst part of all is it just stopped working on me. Error message: Check FPC.

No solution to this, I literally used it like 10-20 times last summer and stored it. Got it out for this years travels, charged, used 2 times then got error message.

I researched this vape, you can have your own line from Alibaba dot com too. This is just a re-branded 20 Chinese vape.

Its probably worth about 25-30. Please shop on, there are much better vapes.

Really? That’s unfortunate! I was all stoked bc it does dry and oil is digital and looks sick! Does anyone have a suggestion on something similar but of quality?

Great vaporizer, but the mouthpieces keep breaking. Defective mouthpeices, but they aren’t covered under the warranty.

    Poor Product.
This is one of the worst products I have ever purchased. No
instructions even came in the package and has not worked right from day one. Sitting in the closet because we gave up.
    Very poor product.

WULF IS A SHEISTER COMPANY: Vaporizer works. I’ll give it a 3 on “Quality” for that one. Averagely easy to use (gets a 5). 60 sec heat-up is not bad but not great (gets a 5). Efficiency is average. It’ll vape your flowers but definitely is NOT worth the MSRP price. Battery doesn’t hold charge too long. Full battery usually lasts 4-5 fills. Comes out of the box with a mouthpiece attached to the unit that has a screen that can NEVER be replaced; its attached to the initial mouthpiece permanently. Nothing anywhere from the company tells you that the initial mouthpiece screen is not replaceable. You can figure that out by trying to remove the screen & breaking it in the process. The unit comes with no extra screens & no extra mouth piece either, which eventually forces you to return & buy another one (at a fairly high price for some mass produced plastic). Wulf lists 3 Replacement Mouthpieces for the SX unit. I ordered the Type 1 SX Replacement Mouthpiece & a 5 pack of Type 1 Extra Screens. I received the package with the 5 Screens missing which forced me to reach out to their customer service (thanks Wulf!). Shortly after this, & t top it off, the Type 1 replacement mouthpiece out of the box is not even compatible the SX model due to the slightest differences in the plastic tabs meant to hold the mouthpiece onto the SX unit. It pops right off. Is Wulf falsely advertising? Looks like it to me! Forcing the “Compatibly Incompatible” mouthpiece onto the unit only makes the “top quality” $15 plastic crack immediately out of the box. This causes the customer to be out money with no extra screens & stuck with an initial deteriorating screened mouthpiece. I’m expecting the vaporizer to be trash very soon due to the original mouthpiece screen wearing out & with no other solution available other than ghetto rigging the thing or inhaling pieces of herbs. I did’t buy this to ghetto rig it. No thanks. Wulf suggests to replace screens frequently in their forceful & deceitful scenario of making you have to buy another anyways (only after it’s too late!). It’s almost as if the SX unit is a “vaporizer sampler”; albeit a pricey one at that. HONEST reviews online show this vaporizer to be a Chinese mass produced bulk unit, rebraded with a Wolf image screen printed logo in some fancy exaggerated box. IT IS! Want to Sample of a Vaporizer for over $100? Then get the Wulf Vape SX. Or, save your money & buy something real instead. The charger cable is etremely thin like a cheap over priced cell phone charger cable from a gas station; it’s designed to break quickly. Wulf also does not sell replacement charger cables, for ANY model. Even if they did, I’m sure the connectors wouldn’t even fit. I also left an honest low review on their website that was forced to be “Moderated by Wulf”. In other words, Wulf now has the oppotunity to Censor the truth about their product. The price range on this thing is up & down as well; some sites sell it for $80, Wulf sells it for $119. Others sell if for $160 & up. It’s a matter of finding what distributor to get ripped off at to eventually find yourself screwed over with no replacement mouthpieces, screens, or charger cables. I could have spent that $119 on flowers instead. My Grasshopper Vape with a Lifetime Warranty for only $80 more works like a champ & BLOWS the “Wulf Vape Chinese Rip Off Money Making Agenda Schemed Product” out of the water, ten fold. Wulf always attempts to lure you on to their website with “Coupon Code” deals as well, which do not even get the product price down to what it’s REALLY worth. Someone raked in mass cash on these cheap re-branded vaporizers. I’ll tell you that much.

    Is my vape dead?
I got this vape a couple years ago used it for a short time. Took a break, so it’s been stored. I recently took it out and put it on the charger it won’t come on. I also don’t see the light come on should I let it charge for a bit and try to turn it on or should I just get another?
